Pontiac Torrent is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) offered by the Pontiac Division General Motors, as the successor of the Pontiac Aztec that has been stopped. It was made at CAMI Automotive in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada, and replaces the Ponyiac Aztec as a crossover SUV companies for the year 2006.

Torrent which provides five passenger seats is essentially the Chevrolet Equinox on the Theta platform. Torrent was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2005 and went on sale in late summer 2005.
