Updates for 11-30-05
Basically all I did was work on the bottom of the fenders, some more on the door trims and on the doors.
Uneventful, I know.
No pictures either, bah.

11-16-05:
I worked on puddying up the metal that I welded on to the fenders from 11-9-05. I also took the doors off and layed them up on stands to finish the puddy work on the bottom. I also worked on the driver’s side door trim where the door had blocked my access while on the truck. I still have the passenger side to do.
11-23-05:
I didn’t get much done today. It was cold out which made the puddy take forever to set up. I was also recovering from a cold so I didn’t have much energy anyway. I got a little puddy work done on the front end. This is a very time consuming process anyway as I have to bolt up the bottom radiator grille panel and then check my puddy work, unbolt it, do the puddy work, bolt it back up, check work, etc, etc.
Didn’t take any pictures these days, forgot my digital camera - which tends to happen quite often. ;/
I changed the site. Drastically. It now uses blog software to make updating a little easier for me. It’s been about forever since I updated this site. I will try to update the site every Wednesday from now on(that’s the only day I really get to work on the truck - my day off.) In the past two months I haven’t even been able to work on the truck much, due to some health problems. It will probably be sometime in February before the truck is done with all the recent setbacks i’ve encountered.

Got questions, comments, suggestions? I love hearing from you guys, shoot me an e-mail at contact@56fordf100.com anytime.
By the way, I found this new wax product that is amazing. You don’t wash your car, just spray it on, let it haze and wipe it off for one of the best shines imaginable. This product is kind of hard to get ahold of and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in something like this…If I get enough of a response I might buy a bunch and sell it off or put some on ebay or something like that… Shoot me an e-mail at wax@56fordf100.com if you’re interested!
06-29-05:
Today I worked on the hood some more and I now have it near completion. I uploaded some pics to the site that I had saved in my camera for awhile.

Here are the pictures from work I did to my truck on 11-9-05.
In these pictures I was working on getting everything lined up on the front end and making sure everything has smooth lines.
When I tightened up the bottom of the fender to the bottom black piece(not sure what this should be called…it’s called a bottom radiator grille panel in the parts catalog…) it wound up cracking the thin metal in the curve of the fender. Doh. So I had to weld on some metal pieces to strengthen the curves. I still need to puddy up the curves where I welded and also towards the top to make smooth lines.

Here are the pictures from the work done on 9-30-05.
In these pictures I was working on the door frame trims and dash.
On the door frame trims I was basically just trying to smooth out any irregularities and fill in any pinholes.
For the dash, as you’ve probably seen in previous pictures it was just an open area that had a piece of aluminum screwed over it and all the gauges sat in the aluminum plate. I didn’t like this and thought it looked like crap. So I made a template of the opening, cut out some pieces of metal that were slightly bigger than the template and welded it in behind the opening. Then I covered everything with puddy for a very smooth look. I also fixed the top of the dash where it had been somewhat caved in from sitting on it while working on the roof.
Now, on the dash, I will just have two gauges - one for the speedometer and one “quad” guage that has oil pressure, water temperature, voltage and fuel all on one guage. All of my switches and key switch will be hidden. I’m pretty sure this will look sweet.
