Fiber Tech from Evercoat

Fiber Tech is amazing stuff. I used this to build up the sides of the roof on my 56 Ford above the doors and in the front. I used Fiber Tech because you can build it up really thick without much problem or fear of it cracking. This product is as tough as nails. Fiber Tech sets up quick - in like 10 minutes it is ready to sand(i'm in a very warm climate so your results may vary) and by 15 minutes you have to use a body grinder to sand it down. Also, while sanding I recommend a 36 grit sandpaper to rough it in - you'll need it! ;-) What makes Fiber Tech so tough is all the Kevlar and fiber glass strands mixed in with the material. When you squeeze it out of the tube(it's like tooth paste) you can just smell the resin. The one thing I dislike about Fiber Tech is all the pinholes you get, but that is easily corrected with some Metal Glaze Finishing Puddy. All in all, if you need to build up any area you're repairing and need it to be real tough, Fiber Tech is the only way to go and it will bond to steel, aluminum, plastic panels, fiberglass, and on and on.
